Mountain Trout House is a family-owned and operated marina on beautiful Kawagama Lake. We live here, work here, play here — and we take pride in serving our community: boaters, snowmobilers, and lake lovers.
We service and store our clients’ vessels and sleds as an authorized dealer for Mercury, Yamaha, and MerCruiser engines. We also provide seasonal slips for 125 water-access cottagers and support several lake events during the summer season.

Mountain Trout House Marina is hiring—we’re searching for a Marine Mechanic to join our Crew!
Located on the largest large in Haliburton county Kawagama Lake in Dorset, Ontario, you’ll be joining a family run marina and Yamaha and Mercury dealer, with 120 slips and 400 stored boats. Mountain Trout House Marina has historic presence in the area and has been in operation since 1938!
This position offers a competitive wage based on industry standards $30-$50/hour, a benefits package, and vacation time. Only applicants with the ability to work in Canada will be considered and resumes will be reviewed on an on going basis until the position is filled.
